NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting Course
NRA Basics of Rifle SHooting course overview:
The NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting Course provides participants with the essential knowledge, skills, and attitude required for safe and effective rifle use in target shooting. This course runs a minimum of eight hours and includes both classroom instruction and supervised range time.
Students learn:
-NRA firearm safety rules
-Rifle parts, operation, and ammunition basics
-Core shooting fundamentals
-Range rules and procedures
-Shooting positions: benchrest, prone, sitting, standing, and kneeling
-Rifle cleaning and maintenance
-Ways to continue developing marksmanship skills
Participants receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, the NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, a student exam, and a course completion certificate.

Ammunition Required: 150rds of ammo for your rifle.
Equipment Required: Rifle, Ammo, Hat, Eye and Ear protection. Hydration, Food and Light Snacks.
